At AICI, we love nothing more than breathing new life into a space while respecting its character. In this project, we’re working with a classic UK dining room, keeping the room itself fully intact- no knocking down walls or structural changes here. Instead, the goal was to reimagine the atmosphere through design alone.
Our first step was to strip the room back to a blank canvas by removing all the furniture (and fireplace, as owners wished to remove it). At AICI, we use our own in-house AI editing tools for this, but if you’re experimenting at home, even free tools like ChatGPT can help you clear the space digitally so you can start visualising ideas.
Everyone has their own workflow, but for us, beginning with an empty room creates the perfect foundation for exploring fresh styles and creative possibilities.

With the room cleared, we explored three beautiful redesign directions, each giving the dining space its own unique character:
1️⃣ Deep Fig & Sandstone – A rich and dramatic scheme that layers deep fig tones with warm sandstone accents. This style creates a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for intimate dinners or evenings spent lingering at the table.
2️⃣ Modern Minimalist – Clean lines, simple silhouettes, and a light, uncluttered look. This approach keeps the room feeling open and airy, ideal for those who love a calm and contemporary setting.
3️⃣ Modern Farmhouse – A warm and welcoming blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort. This style combines natural wood textures, soft neutral tones, and timeless furniture pieces, creating a dining space that feels both relaxed and refined — perfect for gathering with family and friends.

We know how tricky it can be to get good results from AI design apps– we see it every day in the Facebook groups where people share their struggles.
With us, there’s no such frustration. You don’t have to worry about prompts, floating furniture, or images that don’t make sense in real life.
At AICI, we deliver designs that are both actionable and beautiful, letting you truly imagine how a new look would feel in your own space. And the best part? You can try it from just £15 for three images, per style.
Below, you’ll find more inspiring before-and-after examples from our recent projects, created for clients just like you.
